The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.(Wittgenstein, 1922)
This work was extended by my previous set of work, WHITE. WHITE was my first darkroom series and I’ve learned how to evaluate photography as an art form from that process. I’ve realized that it is a huge language system which connected to the visual, material, history, aesthetics, and philosophy. It is also a system to teach people how to realize the world. However, most of time, it’s difficult to find specific words to describe the objects that we see and we are sometimes lost for words in how best to describe what we have seen. Suddenly you’re lost in translation, speechless and wordless. I orchestrate my materials into a language system which articulated the visible and the articulable formation. Furthermore, I have more interest in what is the possibility of the audiences, the subject and the object.
